This photo is from my all-time favorite wildlife encounter. I had been drifting in and out of sleep for several hours, waiting in a blind for the parakeets to descend. This untamed Jaguar abruptly and gently stepped out of the bush. Being my first experience with a wild cat, I needed some time to comprehend the situation. Before long, my trembling hands were gripping the camera as I was panting heavily. My head was whirling with emotions and my mouth remained open in shock for a full minute and a half after I finished taking pictures of it. It was wonderful to have Danza Tours around for this wonderful adventure.
I slowly walked towards my camera and fired hundreds of pictures while breathing heavily knowing that this would be a once in a lifetime picture.
